In an attempt to conquer Statia in only one day, we tried to leave Saba early and arrive in Statia as early as possible. However, rain and weather delayed our departure and squalls plus wind shifts slowed our sail, overall we arrived in Statia about an hour and a half later than expected. This did not allow for the one day conquest, but it did allow our activities to be spread out over two days resulting in a chance to slow down and appreciate all the Statia has to offer. Today's leisurely exploration of the town was enjoyed by the crew and we all look forward to tomorrow's hike and dive.
