Day 12

Author: Tosca G.
Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
Having been warned of the tropical wave coming this week, we awoke to a grey yet exhilarating avalanche of rain. However, warm slices of french toast and swigs of lemonade geared us up for the day ahead- a 40 foot scuba dive at the rock formations known as the Chimneys. The short motor over there was a battle at the helm as the rain flew down one moment and patches of sun the next. Within an hour we were submerged in water- but this time 11 meters of ocean. Having donned scuba tanks, fins, and regulators, it became the greatest dive yet, as we swam over schools of fish, clusters of shells, and mountains of corals. Later we sailed, backflipped off the boat, and had some great photo opportunities! To finish off, a Blue Planet video and our dreams filled with today's adventures and expectations of tomorrow.
