Location: Saba
After a long 14 hour passage from the BVI's, we finally arrived in Saba. We had a quick rest while Torin cleared customs and then broke straight into a big day. The day turned out to be agony, yet very satisfying. We hiked to the top of Saba from sea level, an altitude of over 2500 ft. The hike was very strenuous but the end product was rewarding. While the "scenic" tip was not quite scenic due to the clouds, the fact that we had accomplished such a foreboding task was an amazing feeling for all the shipmates who conquered the mountain. Although I was not able to complete the hike due to a cut on my foot, I am so proud of the rest of the group.
