Today we set off early for a six hour bus ride that was supposed to be one of the most beautiful in all of Ecuador. After crossing out of Quito we saw several rural sights including the farm where Roberto spent much of his childhood. Even deeper in, we encountered a mass expanse of lusciously green mountain ranges as far as the eye could see. Halfway through the bus ride we stopped at the farmers market where everyone attempted their skills at bargaining despite their "gringo" status. After the farmers market we walked up to the Black Sheep Inn Eco-lodge.
Immediately Lamas, a hot tub, a zip line, and a dazzling view appeared before us, still, most importantly we had really hot showers. After Secretly discussing Michelle's 17th birthday cake we set out on the zip line which offered a beautiful view. At our vegetarian dinner someone got a big surprise when a delicious carrot cake with seventeen candles was placed in front of her. That same night we saw loads of beautiful fireworks set off on the front patio at a dangerously close rage. Judging by what I have seen so far I think the black sheep inn is going to be great fun.
