Location: Limoncocha and the Rio Napo
After breakfast we loaded a canoe and went to a bus stop. We took a bus to Limoncocha Lagoon. We got into a canoe for a ride around the lagoon. Hector pointed out lots of different birds and tried to find a caymen for us but didn't. After a while we unloaded and climbed a very long set of stairs to a hut. We dropped off our boxed lunches and went on a hike. Adam found a glass frog. It was awesome! Hector showed us a huge tree. The roots were over 3 ft. tall. Hector also showed us how to climb a tree Amazon style. Only a couple of people tried to climb it.
On the second half of the hike we got to swing from a vine! Once we returned from the hike, we ate lunch and Roberto taught a couple of people how to throw a machetti. 3 people got the machetti stuck in a tree. Next we went piranah fishing. Tierney caught two, the most of the day! On the canoe ride back to the bus, Hector found a caymen. It was 4 meters long! Once we returned to the lodge, we ate dinner and went to bed eager for tomorrow to come.
