It was a whole day of horseback riding today. Some of us, including me, had this experience before so we were excited about it. But some of the others were scared or nervous about it. There were 3 guides today leading us and telling us the skills to control the horse.
We started the adventure at 9:00 am, on time, and had to ride all the way to a cheese factory. I have to say that it was so much more fun to ride a horse in nature than in a barn. On the way, we got the chance to walk, jog, or run depending on the road we were riding. It took us a little while to get used to our horses and for the horses to be familiar with us. Once this process was over, it became a lot easier to control them even on the most rocky way. Luckily the horses were so smart that they could always find a better way and a right way to go without our operation. The thing we needed to do was sit nice and tall, control the speed, and enjoy the process and pretty view.
After two hours riding, we reached the cheese factory in which we learned about the entire procedure to produce cheese and tasted three kinds of cheese. Most of us bought several sausages of cheese as gifts to take home.
Then we hiked a little bit in the pretty cloud forest and flower field. It was so worth it because of all the peaceful and natural views we saw.
Then, we rode on a different way back to the inn. We saw gorgeous fields and mountains on the way. But at the same time it was much more difficult to ride downhill with dust all in our eyes and especially when our horses were exhausted and sweaty. It took a shorter time to come back. We were so cheerful to see the inn but meanwhile it was so hard for us to say goodbye to our horses. They all behaved perfectly today and bravely, bringing us so much fun. Everyone had a really big smile on their face, and that's all that we wanted.
