Today was another rotation day in Mountain Point. First we motored out a bit on our "home," Watermelon, and practiced our mooring skills. By the way, we rocked at it, even when it started fiercely raining. Our next rotation was Pico sailing. Unfortunately for us there was only one Pico available for us because the other one was broken. To make up for the broken Pico we had windsurf boards (with no sail) that were extremely fun, especially when fighting the strong current. Next we all gathered again at Watermelon to eat some delicious Ramen soup, but I had to go for a clinic run and was not able to eat our yummy lunch (the clinic run ended up being incredibly fun and the local people at the clinic were very friendly). Later we had our diving rotation and the Vegas had their first open water dive! They tremendously enjoyed it because it was a totally new experience compared to their usual confined water dives. Next we went on Wind Whisper and all the Vegas took their scuba test and the Carinas and Barracudas had a scuba chat. Almost everyone on Watermelon passed their final scuba test and they are very proud of themselves. Today was awesome and I seriously can't wait for tomorrow's action packed day!
