Land Ho!

Today we were released onto the land. Yippee! We got on our buses at 8:30 and started our adventure. We first went to see a huge golden Buddha and walked around the little cute shops. We then went to the Rocks which looked like the Baths in the BVIs. We then visited another temple which had a huge Buddha and the Indian Buddha, which I forget the name for. It was gorgeous. We then traveled to a temple which the locals used. We met many Thai children and they were ecstatic to meet us. We also got cool bracelets from a monk. After, we went to a waterfall and it was so cool!! There were elephants walking through the river while we were jumping off rocks. We then had a delicious lunch and Michael got "attacked" by a lizard and screamed like a girl. Then we got two hours of free time in the town with a group which was really fun to explore. At 4:30 we headed back to the boat and took showers, ate dinner and partied (not actually though). What is really cool though is that every night on the island is New Years so there are fireworks and people light these candles in fabric and let them go and they float up, which is super cool. Anyway life on the boat is great. Hi Mom.
